Where We’ve Been in 2026

If you’ve ever wondered where Healthy Hounds Bakery is when we’re not busy baking up healthy treats, there’s a pretty good chance we’re on the road!

Festivals, street fairs, farmers markets, pet events, community celebrations you name it, we love packing up the Healthy Hounds booth and taking our treats out into the community.

For us, these events are about so much more than selling dog treats. We get to meet our customers face-to-face, make new friends, support other small businesses and, of course, meet a LOT of dogs! 🐶❤️

One of the best parts of owning a small business is getting out into the communities that support us.

Every market, festival, and community event gives us another opportunity to talk about what we do, introduce people to our products, and meet the dogs who ultimately make all of this worthwhile.

Germanfest Picnic — Dayton, Ohio August 14–16, 2026

Healthy Hounds spent the weekend at Dayton’s Germanfest Picnic at Bomberger Park.

This three-day celebration of German heritage brings together traditional food, beer and wine, live music, cultural activities, vendors, and families from around the Dayton area.

We brought the Healthy Hounds booth along for the weekend and made sure there were plenty of goodies available for the pups!

🐾 Englewood Market — Englewood, Ohio

May 14 • June 11 • August 13

Englewood Market has become one of our recurring stops this season!

Held at Wagoner Power Equipment in Englewood, this community market brings together local vendors, makers, small businesses, and shoppers for an evening of supporting local businesses.

We kicked off our first Englewood Market of the season in May and loved returning throughout the summer.

And one of our favorite parts? All the pups who stop by our booth to say hello and check out the treats!

🚘 Bites in the Heights — Rose Music Center

August 8, 2026 — Huber Heights, Ohio

Food trucks, hot rods, live entertainment, local vendors—and Healthy Hounds!

We headed to the Rose Music Center in Huber Heights for the 8th Annual Bites in the Heights.

The free community event featured approximately 20 local food trucks, a cruise-in car show, children’s activities, community organizations, live entertainment and local vendors.

Of course, we were there making sure the four-legged visitors had something good to eat too!

🌳 Brookville Community Picnic — Brookville, Ohio

July 24–25, 2026

Back in Brookville we went!

This time, Healthy Hounds joined the Brookville Community Picnic for two days of community fun.

We brought a booth full of treats and goodies and got another opportunity to spend time with some of the wonderful people and pups we’ve met through our Brookville events.

We absolutely love seeing familiar faces when we return to a community!

Fairborn Community Independence Days — Fairborn, Ohio

July 3–4, 2026

We celebrated the Fourth of July right here in our hometown!

Healthy Hounds spent two days at Fairborn Community Independence Days, bringing our healthy treats to the celebration from 4–10 p.m.

The annual event features vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, family activities, a parade, and fireworks.

And because fireworks can be stressful for our furry friends, we were also thinking about the pups while everyone celebrated.

Two long days but so much fun!

🐶 Bow Wow & Meow Craft Fair — Springfield, Ohio

June 27, 2026

An event called Bow Wow & Meow?

Of course, Healthy Hounds had to be there!

The 4th Annual Bow Wow & Meow Craft Fair at Snyder Park brought together craft vendors, bakers, small businesses, and animal lovers for a day in Springfield.

The Clark County SPCA was also part of the event, making this another wonderful opportunity to combine two things we care about supporting animals and supporting local.

Rip Rap Roadhouse Bike Night

June 24, 2026

Healthy Hounds aren’t afraid to mix things up!

June brought our first Rip Rap Roadhouse Bike Night of the 2026 season, with motorcycles, live music, and a completely different crowd than you might normally expect to find at a dog bakery event.

Wild Front Tears provided the music while we made sure everyone heading home to their four-legged best friend could bring along some Healthy Hounds treats.

Because let’s face it the dogs deserve a souvenir too! 🐾

🍔 Hunger Days Food Truck Rally — Fairborn, Ohio

June 21, 2026

Sometimes the best combination is good food, local vendors, and beautiful weather!

Healthy Hounds joined the Hunger Days Food Truck Rally at Hobson Freedom Park in Fairborn.

While the humans had plenty of food trucks to choose from, we made sure the pups weren’t forgotten!

We set up our treats and goodies and spent another beautiful Ohio day supporting local businesses and meeting the community.

🌼 Yellow Springs Street Fair — Yellow Springs, Ohio

June 13, 2026

This was a BIG day!

We packed up Healthy Hounds and headed to beautiful Yellow Springs for the Yellow Springs Street Fair.

With streets filled with vendors, artists, food, entertainment, and visitors from throughout the region, this annual event is an incredible opportunity to shop small and discover local businesses.

We were there ALL DAY with a booth packed with Healthy Hounds treats, toys and goodies.

Yellow Springs you definitely showed us some love! ❤️🐾

✌️ Springfield Pop-Up with Trippy Hippies

May 24, 2026 — Springfield, Ohio

Not every stop on the Healthy Hounds Road Trip is a huge festival!

In May, we packed up the booth and headed to Springfield for an outdoor pop-up with Trippy Hippies.

These smaller community events give us another opportunity to get out of the bakery, meet new people, and bring Healthy Hounds treats directly to local dog families.

🎪 3rd Thursday — Downtown Brookville, Ohio

May 21 • June 18

Our first Brookville 3rd Thursday of 2026 was such a success that we couldn’t wait to come back!

Downtown Brookville’s monthly 3rd Thursday celebration brings the community together with local vendors, food trucks, shopping, live entertainment, activities for kids, and more.

We love events like this because they allow us to meet people who may have never heard of Healthy Hounds before and introduce their pups to healthier treat options.

❤️ Furry Skurry 5K — Centerville, Ohio

May 16, 2026

This one is always special to us.

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton’s Furry Skurry 5K brings together animal lovers and their four-legged family members while supporting homeless animals throughout the Dayton area.

The event features the 5K, pet activities, vendors, food trucks, adoptable animals and plenty of opportunities for dogs to join in the fun.

Mother Nature didn’t completely cooperate with us this year, but we still had a wonderful time.

Furry Skurry continues to be one of our FAVORITE events! ❤️🐾
